William Szott is in his final year of studies at Merton College. He was awarded a cash grant by the RAB Trust which he used to purchase two quality brushes, a carving knife and a chisel, and was awarded a copy of Juliet Barker's book "Violin Making, a Practical Guide". The photographs show decorative purfling on a viola and a violin in progress.
