Sally
was awarded funding to buy wood and tools to make a cello as part of her
third year studies at Newark. She has chosen to make a slightly
small cello, suitable for a younger player, based on a 1692 Joseph
Filius Andrea Guarneri cello.
During
her studies, Sally has had workshop placements in France and in her
native USA, where she has worked on restoration and setting up.
