Lise was given a funding award.  She writes about how she used this:

“Thanks to the RAB Trust, I was able to buy some useful tools and to finance training in April 2011  in Paris for three weeks at the Sabatier workshop.  This is a high standard workshop. The time I spent there was amazing and I was given valuable techniques from the apprentices who were there.  I worked on a violin for the association Luthiers sans Frontières which needed a lot of repairs (cracks). There were also repairs I had never seen and I couldn't have done without their generosity. I also had the very chance to see a wonderful violin from the Brothers Amati. This is unforgettable.”
